Can anyone advise on what help there is out there for employees struggling at work?
I’m really stressed at work and I fear that if I don’t get the help I’ll become very sick, but I’m not sure who I can talk to at work.

First of all, anon, I’m sorry you’re going through this. I’ve been there too and it really feels like a crushing weight. I don’t know the specifics of your workplace, but every workplace should have some help in place to help ease the stresses of their employees. I’ve linked something below you might find useful. https://allmyhr.com/
If you haven’t already, I’d recommend talking to a member of management or HR about your stresses. Sometimes just discussing stresses can significantly help ease the burden and give you a bit more support at work. It is your employer’s responsibility to provide effective mental health support to their staff.
If your mental health continues to be an issue, you can speak to your doctor and ask them for a medical note also as stress and mental health concerns can fall under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Hope things start to get better, there is always support out there if you’re struggling.answered by meagansharber
