How to make friendship between two dogs?

Our new neighbors just shifted few days ago and they also have a dog, at the very first day my dog barked really hard on him and he barked at him too, I think they both are not happy by seeing each other, as the new neighbors are really good so I want both of them to become good friends, but I am scared if I will unchain him and that dog too they will fight, and will get seriously injured. Any ideas what to do?

    its just like humans hw do u make friends jst like that take your dog to parks and ur friend house and all the dog compitetions dogs make friends themself when they are around other good dogs
