My dog only barks at cats, cows and other dogs, why?

We keep a dog in our home because we think they will protect out home from outsider, strangers, thieves, but my dog doesn’t bark on any person, he only chases cats, mouses, cows and other dogs. Yesterday a stranger just came inside our home from the compound gate but my dog was jst looking at him like an idiot. How should I train him to bark on the people whom he doesn’t know ?

    Behavior of your pet is largely dependent on the way the pet has been treated and trained.
    With some dogs, it is easy whereas with the rest it is tough.
    As no two dogs of the same breed, age and gender are behaviorally similar.
    Assess your surroundings and train your dog well with respect to that.

Dogs are either pampered or strayed. You have the choice to take care of dogs with special breed or you can adopt any dog and give it a family. While most people are overwhelmed with their love for dogs, there are also people who heartlessly hunt these poor creatures. Unfortunately, this cannot easily be stopped as this inhumane act springs to the heart of men.
